Stick the Landing
A good landing page focuses attention on making ONE decision — usually clicking a big button with a Call to Action. It strips away distractions such as menu items or social media links.
For Funnel ONE, we’re trying to shortcut the path from attention to trust using a “speak-to-sell” event — live online or, eventually, in person. The title of your talk is key. It should indicate who it’s for, and what they’ll get in a compelling way. The title alone should motivate people to sign up. You might start with the formula: “Target audience… How to get the thing the want without the pain you hate.”
To capture attention and create connection, try to find a compelling image to use behind the title, something that reflects the promised gain. People tend to respond more to images that have faces in them. If you can, use a short video to introduce yourself and why they should join you for the event. If you make it a minute or less you can also use it on Instagram.
People read captions. It’s weird. (Also, parentheses.)
Strong testimonials start with the most important takeaway — even if you have to rearrange sentences or put a snippet of something at the start. People don’t usually read more than 2–3 sentences.
Social proof is a big motivator. It doesn’t have to be testimonials. Maybe it’s a row or logos from clients you’ve worked with, or media appearances.”

A brief profile of you and any co-hosts should be the last item on the page. Well, not the last — end on one ending Call to Action…
